FUNCTION

The Veterinary Field Officer will be working as a full-time field-based Veterinary expert responsible for conducting a study project “Evaluation of immune responses after co-administration of Fowl Pox and Newcastle disease vaccines by non-invasive routes to smallholder chicken in Nepal”. S/he will assist Principal Investigator from establishment to operationalization and closure of the project and work in close collaboration and coordination with Principal Investigator, project partners, cooperatives, and beneficiary farmers. In addition, s/he will also contribute to building up the rapport in the community while staying in the project site and performing the assigned and discussed duties.  This position is based at the prospective project site; Galchi, Dhading which requires extensive travel in the community on a daily basis.

REQUIREMENTS

A skilled veterinarian with a bachelor’s in veterinary science or equivalent degree. Minimum 2 years of field level research works focusing on poultry diseases.
