Heifer Project international Nepal (HPIN) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education, and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant. HPIN invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the following position.
Procurement and Account Assistant -1
Major Roles and Responsibility:
The Procurement and Account Assistant will assist in effectively implementing operational plans and achieving targets for procurement, compliance, and accounting functions, ensuring adherence to Heifer Project International policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Education in accounting, finance, business administration or related fields is required plus 2 to 3 years of work experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles and procurement process
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Attention to detail
- Information technology proficiency in accounting/ procurement software, word processing, spreadsheets, reporting and file managing, electronic mail, and internet (Microsoft preferred)
- Sound in English and Nepali, both spoken and written
