Unleashing Digital Acceleration and Ambition of Nepali Youth (UDAAN) is a European Union-funded initiative implemented by a consortium led by Youth Innovation Lab, in partnership with Heifer Project Nepal, NAAMII, and Women in Animation Nepal. The project aims to expand digital and economic opportunities for young Nepali women and men, particularly those from marginalized communities, Indigenous groups, and remote areas. UDAAN addresses barriers that limit youth participation in Nepal’s growing digital economy by strengthening access to digital skills, innovation opportunities, employment pathways, and supportive ecosystems. The project recognizes that meaningful digital inclusion requires more than access to technology; it requires skills, mentorship, practical experience, and opportunities to apply knowledge. The project’s goal is to enable young people to become skilled professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and active contributors to Nepal’s digital transformation.
