For over 18 years, Heifer International has been working in Nepal with the goal of bringing poor smallholder farmers from a state of poverty and vulnerability to attain livable wage. Heifer supports communities with physical and technical input of livestock, agricultural tools and trainings, simultaneously, building cohesive communities through organized Self Help Groups (SHGs) where women represent their families.
